Supporting and learning from senior writers will be a big part of the job, but this is a position where you can truly spread your wings and own projects and initiatives.
The copywriter works independently and in collaboration with art directors and designers. They must be keen team players and self sufficient multi-taskers, full of original approaches and innovative ideas—taking initiative to seek out new trends and incorporate them into campaigns effectively.

DUTIES

  • Manage editorial element of projects
  • Attend creative reviews and collaborate with creative team to ensure timely, accurate and appropriate copy
  • Ensure all copy communicates a consistent voice and style throughout all forms of communications within multiple channels for several clients
  • Proofread design comps and printer's proofs for assigned projects
  • Self-edit and proofread written assets prior to delivery
  • Work independently to anticipate problems before they arise; find solutions and follow-up on issues
  • Demonstrate agile writing capability to adjust copy to most effectively deliver messages in support various business/channel needs. Examples include editing brand copy to meet shorter, digital requirements (i.e., homepage or Facebook) and reducing lengthy materials into concise, compelling communications
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability writing, editing, and proofing digital assets, and printed assets
  • Excellent editing skills with on-the-job proofreading experience
  • Articulate thinker with the ability to take creative direction, react quickly, and interact productively during brainstorming sessions
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment where creatives and marketers work together to solve tactical and brand initiatives
  • Positive attitude and team orientation
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task with strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented Must work comfortably within tight deadlines and budgets
  • Be able to  handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to follow client style guides
  • Must be a true team player that is focused on the “we” results
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even under pressure
  • Comfortable working in a mac environment, experience in Word and Keynote
 

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a focus in English, literature, or communications is preferred
  • 2+ years professional experience
  • Agency experience is preferred

Art Director

Art Director
You may love comic books, distilled beverages, or artisanal pickles, but your true love is design. You know that good design transcends any medium—and you work to craft original, thoughtful work across print, digital, and video.
The art director takes the creative lead on a project, creating concepts and selling them to the internal team. They think about the underlying strategy, brand values, and ultimate goal of a project and hatch ideas that will move customers to convert—and then they do it all again. As an art director at an integrated agency, they understand that creative executions have to carry messages across print pieces like viewbooks and postcards to online banners and landing pages while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Understanding that we live in a multimedia world, where the print/digital divide is ever-changing—the art director generally splits their time 60 (print) / 40 (digital)... for now.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and deliver strategically designed comps for presentations
  • Recognize project creativity/profitability trade offs
  • Presents design concepts and rationale behind design concepts to the project team
  • Digest and understand client corporate identity and branding guidelines and technical restraints
  • Be comfortable with delivering options upon options upon options
  • Manage client’s brands through design integrity, messaging, and consistency
  • Directs the design process by providing creative direction to designers and production artists for specific projects
  • Prepares finished art and handle some production work—accurately and efficiently building and releasing design files
  • Develop photography concepts and art direct on-location photoshoots as needed (occasional travel is required)
  • Remain current with design and agency trends
  • Help cultivate a "creative first” culture, making CCA the best we can be
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in the entire Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must work comfortably within tight deadlines and budgets
  • Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
