The United States Naval Academy, founded in 1845 and the second oldest of the nation’s five service academies, selected CCA to develop the name, strategic messaging, and creative foundation for its second-ever (and largest at $400 million) comprehensive campaign to support critical and visionary programs and initiatives. The campaign, Called to Serve: Daring to Lead, made the case for giving by articulating that while the government funds the U.S. Naval Academy’s core operations, it is those who are inspired by the academy’s mission who fuel its greatness. Our work included conducting a thorough discovery, crafting the campaign name and strategic messaging platform, helping to achieve consensus among the Foundation’s leadership, and designing key campaign print communications.
