17 New Education Advertising Awards in 2017 (And Another Best of Show!)

We are proud to announce that we had 17 wins in the 32nd Annual Educational Advertising Awards (formerly the HEMR Awards). Over 2,250 entries were received from more than one-thousand colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.

We picked up awards for a range of work, including a “Best of Show” award for the Niagara University Viewbook! With that win, we’ve now won an Educational Advertising Awards “Best of Show” every year for the last decade.

We’re thrilled to have won for this piece in particular; at a time when so much of what we do is moving online and being reduced to micro-interactions, this piece takes advantage of the physicality of a printed piece. Setting Niagara apart from a largely homogenous field of competitors, the large viewbook has waterfall pages that interact with the neighboring spreads to share a deeper story—taking time to fully explore and making Niagara memorable.
